Cardiff 3 Peaks is organised by Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team. We are a voluntary organisation responsible for for covering the central section of the Brecon Beacons and the valleys to the south towards Cardiff. The total area that we provide cover for is 1437 square km.
The team is made up of unpaid volunteers, who give up their time to help those that need us. All money raised from Cardiff 3 Peaks goes towards the running costs of the team, currently standing at approximately £60,000 a year.
